My Generation Camaro 305 ci Build-up

In Chevy High Performance, one of the first mods on the 87 Camaro was an aftermarket Holly fuel pump. Any thoughts on whether this replacement is worth the time and effort.

Yes, it is worth it. I'd read before the stock carb fuel pump barely flows enough to handle the stock engine. Any mods and its not enough.

I dont know how accurate that is but a new pump is always a good idea. I have the stock pump on my 82 and it runs strong up high. But maybe it would run stronger with a larger pump????? dont know. New fuel pumps are pretty cheap.
I dont know about that build up they are doing though. I have all the mods in my signature and i ran a 14.95 with a 2.25 60 foot at 92 mph. and that is with too little compression for the cam so i dont know why their car is so slow. just my opinion...
