AFR 195 flow test results
Finally finished up the chambers on my AFR heads and before I put them on the motor I stuck them on the flow bench. Here's the results. They are the 195 runner 64cc chamber street heads. Port matching only, no runner/port work. The "after" numbers are after back cutting the intake valves and re-lapping them and some chamber work. Relieving the chambers and laying back the walls some. Also just a little smoothing of the bowls right above the intake seats.
Before:
Lift CFM
.100 63.7
.200 128.5
.300 185.9
.400 226.7
.500 253.9
.550 254.5
.600 255.1
After:
.100 63.1
.200 131.9
.300 197.4
.400 240.0
.500 257.4
.550 259.4
.600 260.3
They picked up 3 1/2% with the little bit of work and outflowed a set of AFR's CNC heads up to .550" by an average of 8 cfm from .100"-.600". Next will be a set of the new Brodix Race Rite heads and see what they'll do on the dyno
