This Cam For 355 Twin Turbo ?

Would like some opinions on cam selection. This is for a 355 im building up right now for my twin turbo L98 91 z28.
Engine - 4 bolt hydro. roller 355
- ported L98 heads 1.94 , 1.50 64cc casting 14101083
- dished L2441F forged blower pistons
- approx. 8.5:1 compression
- superram intake 58mm bbk trottle body
- 25lb SLP injectors
- NOS 150 wet setup
- twin T3s intercooled

Drivetrain - 3.23 stock
- stock 700r4 (going to upgrade along with converter)

730 ecm converted to 749

Called Comp Cams and was told to go with this:
part # 08-467-8 .576/.571 @.50 230/ 236 113

What do you guys think?

ROFL!

True true...
That cam should work, but is this motor ever going to be built or is it just a dream?

IF this motor ever came into existance in your dream car... the first thing I would say you need to do is scrap those 25lb SLP injectors, which are rated at 25lbs for the LS1 fuel pressure(much higher than ours) that act like 21s in our cars at our pressure, and get some real f'in injectors.

Oh and good luck w/ that stock tranny!!!

Just need a cam and some lifters Balanced rotating assembley consisting of Forged H Beam Scat Rods and Scat Crank to match, new flexplate, harmonic balancer, and a matched set of Forged pistons from Felpro.

This is no bull****. I trying to run the twins on my stock motor right now to get all the bugs out. That is why this motor has been sitting. If you would like to see the stock setup with th superram and twins just go to the power adder forums.

For someone who is a "moderator" you were sure quick to jump down his throat....even when he has the TTs already installed.

I guess the purpose of this board has become the first one with a smart-*** comment wins.

Well I feel like an *** then.

There's just a lot of arm chair racers around....

Well, my know nothing cam opinion is now down the toilet... I'd guess asking in the power adders forum would be better, someone with forced induction has the opinion you'd want right?

= Information sought.

i think you'll do a lot of talking and not much wrenching.
= Information given.

I've re-read this a few times, and i'm not sure, but I don't quite think that was what he was asking for.

Cam selection is one of the most important factors in how an engine will run/perform/behave. Without putting words in his mouth, i think he was looking for someone who has expeirence either with his combo or cam to give him a little insight.

if he had never ask i wouldn't of bothered.?

Good point. If someone doesn't ask a question, no one will have the opportunity to put him down.

I just wanted some opinions on cam selection for my motor so it will perform the way it should and so im not buying a piece of scrap metal. Also so im not relying on one person who sits in front of a computer at comp cams and most likely dosent even have a thirdgen.

In the research I have done for turbo motors, I have gotten various answers from several companies, and several from turbo places. From the cam places I get is more of a blower cam setup. More exhaust duration than intake, but from some of the turbo places, and turbo gurus, they are starting to go w/ single pattern came.

IMO I would run a slightly smaller cam. When I was looking at the t76 setup for my 355, the biggest cam I came up w/ that I have looked at running 224/224 .560/.560 on a 115 LSA so you don't blow all the boost out the exhaust valve w/ the tighter LSA...

Its all preferance really. On Engine Analyzer, the cam size doesn't make as much of a difference as people would think. Maybe a 5 hp difference in going from a "small cam" to a "large" one.
