Kick on acceleration (broken mount?)
well I have had a problem as a result of a stupid mistake.... it was a neutral drop from higher rpms. 4k or so. accidently pulled it into drive and ever since it kicks hard and makes a loud thud under heavy acceleration from a stop or slow cruise. and I also feel it in the shift from 1-2. I origionally thought it was a slipping tranny, but now the thought is a broken mount of some sort. either motor or tranny... any help would be appriciated.

Crawl underneath and check the transmission mount. If broken, replace with a poly unit.

yeah it was the tranny mount I just didn't get a chance to update, the tech article says the poly one isn't quite to spec. and it could cause problems but is it any thing to worry about?

Didn't cause me any problems. I've heard of some weirdness with V6 mounts, but I don't know any specifics.
