Naptha
I did a few searches about different techniques to help pass emissions testing and I came across Naptha(Coleman Camping Fuel). I went to the hardware store and saw a few different items with Naptha. I just would like to know if the one I have a picture of below is the right one to add to my gas?
Any help is appreciated.

You could spend the few dollars for the emissions pass in a bottle kit, might be better off doing that then adding some napthalene to your gas tank.
Naptha is good for gas camp stoves, army pickup trucks (with the right carb jet tuning) and getting a fire going.

Is there anything that stuff can't do???
To me it seems like it may burn a bit dirty. It does clean the fuel system out real good, though. I use it for cleaning injectors all the time.
On a side note I ran a weedwacker on that when I ran out of gas. Couldnt shut the thing off. Starting autoigniting all on its own. I had one of the worlds only working examples of a homogenious compression combustion ignition engine

A lot of people on here added like a gallon of this stuff to a 1/4 tank of gas and passed emissions with flying colors after repeated failure with any other methods. I just want to know if there are different types of this stuff. Is Coleman Camping Fuel any different from this Naphtha found in the painting section of a hardware store?

I dont think there is too much of a difference. The VM&P may be a higher quality blend since its for more then just setting stuff on fire.

Clort wanna pass emissions? Here's what ya do. When this works you got dinner for me right? Pick up yourself a bottle of 90% rubbing alcohol. Have the tank @ 3 gallons of high octane, preferably 99 or better race fuel, add bottle of alcohol. This of course should be done after the engine has been @ normal oper8ng temp for @ least 1/2 hour. Go take your test. Make Shure your cat isn't hollowed or missing!
