first ?. if you've been running your car and shut it off when u pull a vacuum line off should it suck air? second? i checked by ohms on my tps between a and c. ihave 12.8 when the meter is at 20k. is this too high and is it causing any complications .no codes.

First question: No, after shutting off the engine, you should have no vacuum left in the motor (brake booster, yes..)

TPS: No clue, five7 will know.

Any reason for checking these things? Perhaps if you give the problem we can give you other things to check...

doubt it.
Do your brakes work?
If so, why are you pulling it off?
Does the car run funny? high idle? What's the vacuum reading at idle?
Is the idle speed "hunting"?

ok!
Now we're getting somewhere. I had to pry some info to help ya.

Well if it's working ok now, are you still planning on checking other things?

Hearing any whistling?
What induction is this? carb? FI? EDIT: ok, stealthram = tpi Nevermind...

What's vacuum level at idle?

You could try the good ol' propane trick to see if it's pulling in air somewhere that's subtle...

Another one is to pull a hose, and if the idle gets worse, then that line was ok, if it doesn't change, then that line had/has a leak.(sounds like you're doing that already...)

drove the car today for an hour. run better then it ever has ran before . idles smoothly. i believe it was a misadjusted tps voltage. but now i get a good a/f mixture at idle part throttle antdwot ,even in od at 70 mph.i also swapped out 90% vacuum hoses.
