holley stealth ram or high-flow tpi??

i have a 2wd 1992 chevy fullsize with a mildly built 355 TPI "91 z28" 212-218 264-270 487-495 110 comp cam, comp cam 1.52 roller tip rockers, 24lbs, afpr, hypert flat tops, stock heads for now......exhaust......i have a edelbrock base, ported slps, ported plenum, and a bbk 52mm, sitin in the garage, what would make more power and be better for my trcuk my high-flow ported TPI setup or a holley stealth ram setup? i have a 2200 stall and a built 700r4 to back it up!! so what do you all think??

Im not very familiar with the setups youre describing.....got any numbers? As far as intake size, intended powerband, etc?

Sounds like youve got a pretty nice setup for a truck....just a bit wild, but still torquey enough for good streetability... The TPI setup will probably work well....but then I dont know the specs on a Stealth Ram...

you'll make more top end with the hsr. thing is... your cam looks better suited for high-flow tpi. it's a small cam, but the hsr makes more power with ported/aftermarket heads and cam (and a higher stall converter as well). i wouldn't waste my money on the highflow tpi though... to me, it's not worth it. i was thinking the same thing you were, so isntead, i bought aftermarket heads, bigger cam (224/230), 1.6 rockers and a 3000 stall converter.

if you really want to go with one or the other and waste some money, go with the high-flow setup.

but may i suggest spending the money on a nitrous kit? depending on your cr, a 100-150 shot nitrous kit sounds a lot better than throwing away your money on a high-flow tpi setup. get all the goodies so that you never experience a problem with nitrous. u should seriously look into it... hope i helped some...

like i said...for the hsr to shine, you need aftermarket heads, good cam, and a high stall (higher than what you have).
