Sometimes I need to press the gas to start car!
This started a few days ago, and maybe 1 out of 3 times I'll need to hold the gas down when the engine is cranking for it to actually catch. I don't think I heard the fuel pump priming but it was windy (noisy) that day. Ideas?

ON a TPI car, you shuould never have to do this. Could be the IAC isn't opening to allow enough air in...I dunno, but pressing the gas on a TPI isn't the same as a carb engine.

one of the things it could be is leaky injectors. Hook up a fuel pressure gage, start the car and then shut it off. If the pressure stadily drops rather fast (in 5-60 min), then you have a leak.
Then when you start the car few hours later, the engine is flooded and that's why you need to give it more air.
