How can i tell if valve lash is too tight?
I just got done with my cam/head swap and i am worried that i might have the vavle lash too tight. Is there anyway that i can tell? I used the method where you spin the pushrod then tighten it will you cant spin it anymore.

mine may be too loose, but they're not making any noise yet. I had trouble getting my car started after a cam/head swap. So the lifters ended up being pumped up. I adjusted mine just to the point all verticle movement of the pushrod was out. Didn't even give it 1/4 turn. I was figuring after I got the car running I'd adjust the noisy ones. None of them were noisy

If you cranked em down to where the push rods can't spin, they're too tight.
Back them all off exactly one full turn; and then adjust them correctly with the engine running.
