327, 5 speed... $1000 to invest
Hey everyone, it's been awhile since my last post as I sold my 1988 Camaro SC (305TBI) and bought a 93 Formula. But I just got a steal on this 1983 Trans Am with a 327 out of a 1965 Impala SS. The guy is a friend of my dad's and in a car club with him, and new I was looking for a 'weekend muscle car', so to say. Anywise, I picked this car up for a couple G's... the interior needs a little TLC, but otherwise it's a very strong runner.
There's been some work put into it as you will see in the pictures, but I've got about a thousand dollars left to put into her. Was thinking some good wheels/tires... but wouldnt mind some added power, either. Was thinking of maybe some transmission work (B&M5.0... Hurst shifter)...
Here are some pics!

How about sinking a couple hundred in getting all the maintenance current? Trans and engine oil, rear gear oil, brakes, tires, steering and suspension bushings and components, lighting, body seals, filters, ignition parts, cleaners, etcetera, will all eat up some of that cash.
Or, you could send about $500 to me as a consulting fee, and I'd give directions on how to dispose of the balance.
