Does my '87 L98 350 GTA have a 4-bolt main block?

Car: 1988 IROC-Z
Engine: L98 (350 TPI)
Transmission: MD8 (700 R4) + 3.42 LS1 Rear
Only the corvette L98's came with a 4 bolt. all other L98's came with a 2 bolt

the L98's used in 3rd gens had 2-bolt mains as far as i know...and as far as i laso know the 87 350's werent L98's.....unless its not the original engine

In '86 with the addition of the one piece seal, all blocks were 2 bolt mains for the vette.Suxs but true.
Maybe the earlier'85 blocks had a 4 bolt main..I dont know that one for sure.
They had the 2 piece seal.

I dont want to argue with anyone here, or start any wars, but my L98 in my 88 IROC that I had was indeed a 4 bolt main. It was the original engine also. For all you engine junkies, the block suffix code is CUA. This is indeed a 4-bolt main IROC motor. Did I get a freak? What are others thoughts?

sorry guys but no L98s came from the factory with 4 bolt mains. My uncles business partner parking races L98 corvettes and all of the L98s he's ripped apart have been 2 bolt. Saves GM money when they don't really need the extra bolts.
