Proper storage?

Unfortunately, for financial and educational purposes, I'm putting the Formula away for the winter a few months early. What would be the best way to do this?

I've read huge procedures that will keep a car in relatively perfect shape for 30 years in storage, but what about this for a lazy way out:

Put it up on blocks to relieve the pressure from the tires, then just start it once a week for 15-20 minutes?

I know that's not exactly storage, but it seems easier and all in all better for the car then draining the oil and letting it dry-rot for six months. Any input?

if you do it i think it will be fine. just make sure you bring it up to temp. also you may want to get a charger and hook it up. a very low amp one. also when you run it, i would rev it a bit once it is warm. not holding it wide open but enough to bring oil pressure up and get the exhaust good and hot to get moisture out. if that makes any sense. also lastly some stabil for the gas, you can get it at any auto/depatment store. and fill the tank all the way up to prevent any moisture from forming in the tank. other than that and a good oil change before storage...that'd be it for me
