Will I notice any change?
Well, on wednesday i'm getting my cowl induction hood installed and then i'm throwing on a 5inch tall K&N open element along with a xstream lid. My question: would i notice and change from this setup? (i current have a normal open element setup)

it should be noticeable, at least if you do a before/after session at the track. The hood should be a weight reduction, and the new k&n stuff should give more air, and this air will be drawn from the cowl, so it will be colder. you should shave off a few tenths.
