Is DFI ans Accel DFI the same?
I have a DFI motherboard on my computer. I have also noticed that there is a Accel DFI from www.mrgasket.com for cars.
www.dfi.com for computers.
So WTF? Is DFI all the same company?
For moderators: I know this would belong on the DFI and ECM,but I believe I would not get an answer.

No, they are not the same. In the automotive sense, DFI refers to Digital Fuel Injection, commonly used as a generic term for any aftermarket programmable fuel injection system. However, DFI was originally the name of the company that made the system, and then Accel/Mr Gasket bought it. But it has never had any relation to the PC component manufacturer named DFI.

The DFI Board is the perfect place to ask this question and it just was.
DFI is an acronym for Digital Fuel Injection and used by many of the aftermarket DFI systems. So DFI does not necessarily mean Accel.
But, when you said that you noticed that your motherboard on your computer said "DFI", what computer? The ECM?
I would repost this question on the DFI Board and FULLY describe the ECM you are talking about, plus any sticker's numbers and codes that may be present. Someone may be able to recognize what it is.

How about that... the MB in my PC here is a DFI too, I got it from the local store, at the time it seemed a decent enough board at a good price. Now it would be really something if I could put it in my car!
But seriously, the name similarity is just coinidence.
