I'm getting this cam from a guy, comp cams custom grind, brand new with 230/230 duration and 560/560 lift. Would that be too much of a cam for a TPI 383 ?

I'm running a Comp XE solid roller 236/242 .602/.610 112 lsa. The intake I'm running is a MiniRam. If you plan on using long tube runners I would recommend the LPE 74219. It is probably the most versatile cam out there. The specs are 219/219 .525/.560 lift with 1.6 rockers 112lsa.

Check this site out ...they have combos with the afr heads and dyno charts. I Think the cams displayed in the site would work just as well with the trick flows.

Not a TPI nor daily driver, but the car is on the road. I used a TPIS ZZ9 cam with
212/226 - .483/.520 with 1.5s on a 112LS.

Very smooth running motor till you go high rpm then she screams!! TPIS cams are renowned for their aggressive lobe slopes which open the valves quickly. Runs great even on a carbed motor!!!

Ohio Valley Dragstrip (KY) Trophy Bracket WINNER - 8.39 ET on a 1.82 sec. - 60'. Best MPH = 84.44. Still Tuning Carb!
