Engine teardown instructions-where?

Can someone help me out with tearing down a bbc engine are their any links anyone know's of.i did a search but all i found was a quick one page info on the process.

does that work for SBCs too, or just BBCs?

tight

i'm on a budget so i was trying to find something free online detailing what piece's to start with first and so on.Yes counterclockwise is always goods to loosen screws.

it's always best to start with the screws you can see and work your way to the ones you can't see. it isn't rocket science and pretty much follows a logical sequence of steps. only thing you might want to do is number stamp the parts to their location and also stamp them in a way that you know which way is up, right, left, front, back or whatever other referance you want to use.

You'll save more than the $20 this book costs by not messing something up, and it will help you when you put it all back together.
