Cold Start Fuel Injector Problems
My car will not start, I've taken it to a mechanic and he found it to be the cold start fuel injector. It's stuck in the on position and keeps flooding the engine so it wont start. It'll turn over if you start it with the gas pedal all the way down (to stop the fuel pump). but once the pump kicks on it'll flood it. The mechanic Replaced the injector, with still the same problem. He also disconnected the computer and it stoped the problem so the compuer was replaced to see if it would fix it. Yet it's still having the same problem. So my mechanic bill is getting jacked up, and my car still doesn't work. He's still unsure of whats causing the problem so I figured I'd consult the experts.

You could have a bad thermo time switch causing the cold start valve to malfunction.
I don't know much about this, but the thermo time switch is in the schematic for the cold start injector.

The cold start injector is wired to only have power when it is being cranked. If it doesn't stop when it's running it must be a wiring problem (if the injector is good). I would unplug the cold start injector and go from there.
