Heritage stripes or full stripes?
I have a 91RS, and I'm getting a paint job done on it in a few weeks. I got a Z28 spoiler and a 2 1/4" cowl hood for it. I want to put stripe on it, but I can't decide whether to get the heritage style stripes, or full stripes that go over the whole length of the car. Please help me decide! Post pictures if you have them. Thanks!

Car: 2000 astro
Engine: 4.3
Transmission: A4
Axle/Gears: 7.5 with 3.42 gears
in my opinion, i would not do the full stripes. make it a throwback to the early super sports (and not just camaro, i mean chevelles as well.), these cars only had stripes on hood and decklid from the factory. i think it's a cleaner and more stylish look.

Not me , I would go with the full stripes, mine start at the front just above the two holes in the front, they go around the two indents in the hood, over the top, down the hatch, down the back and finish off in two bow ties. My car is black with silver stripes. I will try to get my car scanned so I can post it for you.

Digger, please post a pic of your car! I've pretty much decided not to get any stripes on the roof. But in my mind, full stripes look pretty sweet, even though I've never seen them in real life. I don't know, I just don't really like the heritage stripes. Does anyone have a pic of full stripes on a Camaro?

I went with a sigle stripe like the grand sport corvette has, from the very front of the gound effects, over the roof and down to the bottom of the bumper.I have a cowl hood and just used the lines of the cowl for stripe size. it turned out looking pretty mean, I like the single stripe, but its your car get what you want
