Harmonic Damper size (LB9)
I have an 1989 IROC with the 305 TPI. I want to replace the harmonic balancer. Last night, I called Summit Racing to find out what they have. The guy I talked to recommended a Streetdampr or a Fluidampr. But he told me I had to measure my existing one to find out what size damper I have now. Before I crawl under my car to try to measure this thing, does anyone know what size harmonic damper came on this car?
Also, the Fluidampr is more expensive than the Streetdampr. Is there any reason I should spend the extra money on the Fluidampr?
Thanks.
Paul

Probably not.
edit.. thats right, its 6.75 not 6.5
