Lower Air Dams

Where Could I buy a Lower Air Dam for a 1987 Trans AM? any websites or auto stores?

The dealer, but they will probably want your first born child. Bone yard is your cheapest bet.

Go to the GM dealer and get a new one. This is one part that they don't rape you on. $20.00 to $40.00, depending on how well they like you.

It is called an air deflector and be aware that there are 3 parts that are called air deflector.

1. Goes in the nose of the car.
2. Is the strip that looks like a spoiler across the width of the front end.
3. Bolts to the bottom of the radiator.

Engine: 305 tpi, bone stock
Transmission: 700r4
Axle/Gears: 3.42 pos w/rear db
If its the one that bolts to the bottom of the radiator you can use one off a late 70's Olds Cutlass. We put one on the 83Z. Two of the 6 bolt holes line up and the other 4 are easily drilled out in the plastic spoiler/air dam. The one from the Cutlass is wider and lower than the original. Looks good, works great, cost $5 at the junkyard.
