Pine Needle is IAC Inlet ??
typo.. subject is supposed to be "Pine Needles IN IAC ". sorry.
I know I am really clogging up the board lately, but I have another question. When this driveability problem started I was parked under a pine tree. Started the car and ran really rough. Looked in the maf sensor and there were a couple dead pine needles in it, as well as some sort of small seeds with small wings on them, so maybe some of those guys made their way into the throttle body, maybe into the IAC inlet holes, who knows where else ... Found some needles down in the air cleaner too. I have been not fastening one of the three clamps on the air cleaner lid since one of them won't close unless I remove some plastic separator, so apparently the needles got in past the air filter. my bad. The rough running is at idle and at partial throttle too, though. Does this mean the IAC is OK ?
What would a dirty IAC do to driveability ?

Try to clean all of the passages out the best you can. Use some carb cleaner to get the IAC clean and then do the IAC/TPS adjustments as mentioned in the technical articles.
Do you drive around without a hood?
