260 heads?
My friend has a 305 and the heads are 1402260. Does anybody knows anything about 260 castings??? I searched mortec but didnīt find anything....

I think you are overlooking the 1 on the end. If so it would make 14022601 (the 601s you read about) are 305 HO truck heads that are amoung the better production small block heads.

Yes they were 601īs . But which heads are better 601 or 416īs? The 601īs must have 53cc but 416 58cc - is it true?

No, they are about the same, some say the 601's are a tad better, so say no. Whatever you have will work.
