help w/ stripped bolt
Of course when I went to take off my intake manifold, one of the bolts had to be stripped(damn torx bits, wtf was gm thinking).
I drilled a hole in it, sprayed penetrating oil all over it, threaded the easy out in and broke it off.
Now I have a stripped bolt with half of an easy out bit in it, what should I do? I don't want to screw it up anymore, and I don't have a torch.

i'm stuck as well..
possibly you could loosen all of the other bolts and then try to work the intake off..
remember, the intakes have no threads in them so if the head is completely gone you should be able to work the intake up and off the bolt..
if you can do that you should be able to get the rest of the bolt out with a set of ViseGrips

You shouldnt have drilled, when I find a stripped bolt (That a certain sized wrench wont grip) I file it down to the next smallest size and it comes off with no problems. And it tkaes only about 15 mins of filing, unless the bolt is hard to reach...
About your problem is the bolt an absolutely necessary one? Casue if it isn't can't the intake manifold work just fine with 1 less bolt holding it down?

i wouldn't not use a bolt on the intake, could easily be the source of leaks, especially considering you have cast iron heads with an aluminum intake.. the different expansion rates will only breed leaks.
i would try to pry off the intake as-is and then get vise grips on the bolt

Actually, I just thought that I could pull the head and the intake manifold off at the same time, and see what to do from there. They are stuck together because of this bolt breaking.
I am replacing the heads with aluminum ones.

might as well do that, you could then work the intake off that bolt but it would take two people unless you're going to be buying a new intake..

Grind the head off flush w/ the intake, and remove the intake, work on the bolt then/
Visegrips may just work once the intake is off and theres no torque left on the bolt.
