vandalism--insurance claim?
Someone broke my girlfriends side window today...the police came, a report was filed...should we go through the comprehensive insurance to pay for it? I'm sure this has happenned to alot of you...give me advice!!

i wouldn't.
her rates are going to go up to cover it even though it's not her fault.
Get one at the parts yard, put it in yourself and pretend it never happened.

It depends on the state, most however do not increase your premiums on glass coverage. Call ahead to your insurance agent/broker to confirm.
