Hey people,

I am just wondering what viscosity oil to use since this is the first change on my F-Body. Its a 305 TPI and the oils only gonna be used for the summer. Any particular brand that is better then others, synthetic maybe?

On a related note, what tranny fluid do I use for my 700R4. It says Dextron II but I don't remmeber seeing it, so whats a good brand name to use.

Finally I see this commercial on Speedvision for injector cleaner, anybody sue tha stuff and how is it?

It should say which type of oil to use on your oil-filler cap. If not, 10W-30 is the best all-around weight for most climates. I use Mobil1 synthetic, but I don't say it's better than this or that. It's just what I use.

Your stick says Dexron II, but now most stores sell Dexron III. This is compatable with your transmission.

Most stuff you see on commercials on Speedvision is crap. Especially if it's hyped as some sort of miracle cure for your car. Once in a (long) while, I use Lucas injector cleaner, but the best way to clean your injectors is to remove them and have them professionally cleaned.
