305 CFM? Quick question
Hi, i would like to know the CFM of a stock Q-Jet Carb from a 1985, 305 Camaro. Does anyone know off hand what it is?
edit: the engine is a LG4
Thanks.

Modern Qjets (M4M type) are rated at 795cfm.
older ones (pre 1975) (4mv type) are 750cfm
There were some rare 850cfm qjets with larger primary venturii used on high perf Pontiac motors in the early 70's
The Edelbrock Qjets are based on these designs.
There were some Qjets that had the throttle linkage arranged so that the secondary throttles did not open all the way at WOT. These would obviously flow less air at WOT.
