K-member oil pan and headers
Looking for combinations that work for road racing. I will be installing them on a 40X CI engine with a T-5 trans.
Thanks
Jason

Zrated ran hooker supercomps, but said he had the same problem with clearance.
Only two guys i've talked to on here who DOESNT have clearance issues, made their own headers..

So I may haveto get some made? Is hat expensive? I don't have a welder, and I would be too new at it to be any good soon enough.
The biggest reason I would consider the tubular k-member is the extra room for the headers. I didn't know that the steering shaft could be an issue also.
Any other parts that can conflict with headers?
Thanks,
Jason

are you running rack and pinion? hooker long tubes and pa racing tubular k member will work with moroso pan #20205 with no problems on stock steering linkage

RIght now all of it is stock. I want a road race pan and at least shorty headers. I still need to run cats so I can do the sniffer thing. What I heard is that the pan and headers conflict. If there is a steering rack challenge I'll have to take that into consideration.

My block is a World Products Motown 350 pre-80 sbc which means it a 2-piece rear main seal non-roller block. The 88' IROC-Z 350 is a 1-piece rear main seal roller block. I don't know if the pan will fit the stock engine.
The Milodon part# is 30908. The Motown block has dip stick bosses on both sides. The pan also has the left-right option, but the website says left because the 55-79 sbc have left side dipsticks.

My block is a '76 400. If it fits yours it will probably fit mine. Did you notice any problems with the quality or fit of your pan?
Looking forward to the pictures.
