What cam is this?
I got this cam for free and i have no clue on how to identify it. Do I need an outside caliper dile or something of that sort?

oh hey rB you helped me out on how i'm building my vortec motor before tgo got all cut off, so its not a chevy cam? hmm

No, not a Chevy cam....
Here's what the end of a Chevy V8 cam looks like. This one is a roller for a pre-factory-roller block. One for a roller block looks exactly like it, except there's a little step on the end.
Olds uses that arrangement for timing gears, and some F*rds. Not Chevy.
