Short header plugs..?

Engine: running
Transmission: working
Axle/Gears: both
I just ordered a set of reg Bosch to compare .....I think they were FR8DCX plugs ...i just hope that they are a bit shorter than the delco's...GTA

Do you need shorter plug for header clearance? If so you may want to run a regular length plug and buy or make a special spark plug socket. This may be a blanket statement but I have never had a set of bosche plugs that were worth a darn.

i hear ya on the short socket to get to them... I just would like to see if the bosch's have a slightly shorter porcelin than the delco's
I do realize that some people have had good/bad luck with both,and others for that matter , ......gggrrrrrrr headers...what fun GTA

these plugs definately work, I must have run 800 laps on a short track testing them.
Also as far as header plug access. Try going to a auto parts store and digging through their cheapo tool pile. I've cut up wrenches, and cut sockets down in a lathe and welded others to make it easier to change plugs.
