The metal contact inside the steering wheel may have broken off. Mine broke in half so it only works when it wants to. Also check your fuses.

ya mine doesnt work anymore. one of the cables broke when i had a mechanic work on the car(didnt know much back then.) he told me he broke one but the other was fine. two weeks later and the other one broke. could be ur problem too. dont kno the answer to the riddle so if som1 else knows som way to fix it that would help.

no but i seem to find anything straight from the dealer where i live is so expensive. for example they want like 20-30 dollars for the cup holders on a 91 trans am gta. bull crap

Just unhooked your battery, and pull the SIRS fuse.
