starter wont even click anymore.....
i bought another 91 Z to use as my daily driver seein as my current 91 is getting a fresh TT motor put in and this new car sat for a while and it wont even start. the batt is new Optima red cap fully charged, when i turn the key into accessory mode everything works. then when i turn to start the car the starter would just click and not crank over the engine (its a 350 TPI w/ T56 all worked fine when the car was bought but i left it sittin for a while over some cold months) i kept trying to start it, even tried jumping but now the starter doesnt even click, there is still power to all the accessories but nothing from the starter??? what happened?

Is your fuel pump priming? Potential VATS trouble?

Sounds like bad electrical connections. It is best to connect a large ground cable directly from the battery to the engine block.

Check the trigger voltage (purple wire) on the starter. If it's low, check the voltage coming out of the starter relay. If that's fine, check the voltage at the neutral safety switch on the clutch pedal.

ok dumb question?
can you turn the engine over by hand? Hope it's not locked up.
If it is free , I am thinking it sounds like the ignition switch may be suspect.
I other thing, is the brake lights coming on when applying the brakes? Possible a bad brake switch or possibly even a neutral safety switch.
