None of the engines you've listed will get
you an 11sec time slip in "out of the crate" tune you'd need about 450-500 gross flywheel horsepower to get a 3600LB street car in the 11's. (typical
SB f-body weight with driver)
The ZZ-4 crate motor will get you solidly in the low 13's possibily crack into the high 12's. with traction and proper gearing.
the ZZ-385HP fastburn will get you into the 12's
A "stock" Ls-1's power output is simular to the ZZ385 and will run about the same.
The easy way to get a solid 11sec street car is to go with a warmed over 454 big block chev motor in your third gen.
In any case you'd want to use mid/ high 3xx-series rear gearing and a high stall converter and sticky high traction tires. to get these times.

IMO, if your going to run a BB nothing but Single digits should be acceptable, but thats just my opinion.

400sbc, 0-decked block, stock crank, stock rods with arp bolts, and kb hyper pistons that give almost 11:1 (runs on 93 octane). Heads are unported stock valved GM Vortec's with the guides cut down for clearance, good springs, and guideplates installed along with a set of cheapy Proform 1.5 rocker arms. Camshaft is Comp Cams Xteme Solid 282, Super Victor vortec intake, 750 Speed Demon carb right out-of-the-box.
With a 3.42 posi rear and TH350 w/ 4000 stall this motor went 11.7 @ 113mph 2nd pass down the track with NO tuning on drag radials in a true 3600lb STREET car. Sprayed it with a 125 shot in 2nd gear and it went 11.13 @ 122mph. With tuning and more suspension work this car will probably see 11.50's or better on motor and maybe 10.6's on spray.
This motor and car are about as low budget as you can get. If you saw this car you would laugh at how horribly ugly it is. It doesn't even sound scary. Its very tame and drivable, a true street sleeper.

No the pony crack was funny. Not exactly nice, but funny. If he can't take a joke I suggest he may need to do a little growing up before trying to play on the internet.
I've made a few friends on this board. In particular one who seems to like wearing pop cans on his head and I started getting along because I could take a ribbing.. from him when I fubared something. A jab is a jab, he wasn't saying he was three-waying with his mother and sister or anything.

I agree. This forum is a bit taunting at time which is part of the reason I like it. If he can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen!

The GM fastburn 385 crate will work wonders with a cam swap. The only difference between it and the limited production ZZ430 was the cam. GMs HotCam will put the output to just over the advertised 430HP. That would get you the HP you need, and still have a little cash leftover for the drivetrain.
