What is a better wire auotlite or accell?
I bought a set of autolite wires for my car, but my friends said i shoulda got accell. But autolite is more exspensive, which i dont understand, help me out here.

Autolite might last you longer, but they're a stock wire. That means 15,000 ohms per foot of wire. Accels vary, but I think their cheaper wires are 5,000 ohms per foot. Less ohms = more spark to your plugs.
Plus, isn't the Autolite's insulation 7.5mm? With Accel wires, depending on the set you buy, you're at least getting 8.0 mm wires... more insulation = less "spark leak" through the wire.

autolite is also a ford product, go with the accel 8.8 custom fits they are awesome!

As for the wires, neither one. I'd get MSD or Taylor wires personally... But quite honestly there is no reason to replace what you have now unless they go bad.

Try the summit universal fit spiral core wires. $31 gets you a kit with the crimper to put the ends on (not really a big deal)
I've had real bad problems with accell wires and wouldn't recommend them to be used on a honda even...
