i still dont see it
is it down about 1 foot coming strait out towards the outside of the car and by replacing this will it fix the code 44, i recently had the fuel filter changed and it still runs like crap and checked the codes and it came up 44 so I thought i would change the o2 sensor and see if it worked

Driver side exhaust manifold. I beleive it points forward. You should be able to see it from under the hood but you can't miss it from underneith. It is the only thing that taps in the exhaust manifold. Keep looking, its there unless it fell out.

Keep the receipt if it does not fix your code 44. Make sure to disconnect your battery (will erase all codes stored in brain) after you install the new O2 sensor.

well i switched it out and i am still having trouble it runs real rough when first starting, surges up and down and then kind of smooths out once warmed up but still a little sluggish so far i have changed the o2 sensor, TPS the brain box and fuel filter and im still having trouble im going to change the coolant temperature sensor next to see if that fixes the problem, probley get flamed to death for saying this but never had much trouble with the 302 in my mustang the camaro has been one thing after another ( still love the car though, just frustrated)

What year and type of engine is this? The 8th character from your VIN would help.

OK Here is a list of all I have done to try in fix this problem
new brain(computer) same chip
TPS
CTS
O2 sensor
air temp sensor
idle controler
fuel filter
new cap and rotor
new plugs and wires
after replacing the plugs and wires and cap and rotor it runs alot better, but its still rough idle at start-up and has a hesitation when you give it gas from a stoplight or even if i am already moving there is hesitation.........im running out of ideas here

Check the TPS and IAC by reading up towards the end of the "new to TBI" sticky. Dimented goes into great detail on adjusting your TPS and IAC. The IAC can cause your car to run like poo if messed with. Does the EGR valve move freely? IS it gummed up? What is your fuel pressure?

Its Fixed !!!! heres what I did i had a mech shoot some fuel injection treatment directly into the fuel lines to clean the injectors and now it runs like a champ, thank you so much for all the help on this forum and i hope this helps someone else who is having the same problem
