EGR, Edelbrock #3706, and TBI

I have an 89 RS (L03), and I ordered an Edelbrock carb intake manifold #3706. This is for 87+ heads, and includes provisions for EGR. However, from just looking at pics in the catalogs, the Edelbrock EGR flange will not mate with the EGR valve that is currently on the factory TBI intake. Does anybody know if the EGR flanges are different? If they are, is there any way to go about getting an EGR valve that is of the same type (positive BP, negative BP, or ported), but also will mount to the flange on the 3706? Any help about this swap and EGR is greatly appreciated,

Jason
