i got a spal twin. They are two 13inch fans mounted on a common bracket. They flow 2800 cfm and pull about 36 amps. They are meant for the aluminum radiators. Once you talk the mounting brackets and everything they are close to 350 bucks. My 400 would stay about 190 degrees in traffic with just 1 running. When you really got some heat in it, the other fan would start and that would pull it down pretty fast.

Stay away from the Perma-Cool electric fans (The ones for approx. $100-$120 in Jeg's and Summit).

They don't come with a shroud, and are flimsy as hell. One of my friends had one on a 13.8 second 1965 Chevy II, and the thing didn't do squat for cooling. We fabed up a nice shroud with sheet metal, but the cooling improvements were still minimal.

Another buddy bought the exact one for his '69 Camaro (I don't know why, stupid fool knew the probs we had with John's), and I'm sure he's not having much luck with it, although he never drives the car to know yet.

Only buy the PermaCool Black Magic fans, $199+. The other Perma Cools are garbage, as suggested.

I will second the vote for Spal fans. I have the same setup and it made a big difference! I got mine from BeCool, don't recall the price at the moment.
