Missfire...

ok guys today after working on my cai i noticed a vibration. Which has since worstened or i've just gotton tired of it.

At first i thought it was balancing. But its not.

Checked all wires nothings tosted.

I have 7 brand new plugs, one was replaced a while back when it missfired.

So how do i tell which one to put a plug in?

thanks,

Shane

this is another post that shouldnt be

just take your 7 remaining plugs and replace the 7 plugs you havent replaced as of yet then if it still misses then purchase one more plug for a buck

But, it is, strangely enough.

Think about it. You have 8 cylinders, or I hope at least. You replaced 1 spark plug (why the heck does a person replace 1 of the 8?). 8 minus 1 equals = those 7 last plugs.

Other than that, go over your work backwards.

No, no he replaced 7, instead of just one. Why not all 8, he said he replaced that one when it miss fired before. Lets think about this real hard, and see what we can come up with. Hmm, mmm, mmm, still thinking. I don't know i give up, to hard.

You could try touching each header tube to find the cold one.

LOL

actually i have done that with a dead miss when im in a hurry or being lazy, but not with my bare hands, i use a shop towel soaked with water & then watch how fast the water evaporates, it works quite well.

Did you gap the plugs, or just throw them all in there?
