Air Fuel Guage

Hey everyone.

I wanted to install one of those Air Fuel guages in my car. My buddy has one in his Saturn however last night when we were out driving I was watching his last night and it jumps around between lean and rich...it never really stabilizes anywhere. He said it was due to a narrow band O2 sensor.

I want one of these guages but I wanted it to be a usefull addon rather then another light effect glowing gimic in my car. Is there such a thing as a large or wide band o2 sensor for our cars? If so what is a good make? Is there a trick to installing it or does it install the same and just give more accurate results.

Also I just replaced my o2 sensor this summer...is there a way I can find out if I already have a wideband?

Sorry for all the questions.

You don't already have a wideband.

They are supposed to do that.I've had them in 4 cars and they all do it.Your o2 sensor is sending signals which are constantly changing back to the computer.I thought mine was busted when I first put it in my other car.
