Aftermarket or LT1 brakes??? Will they work?

Aftermarket or LT1 brakes??? Will they work?

Hey guys. I need some advice about how to upgrade the brakes on my '88 Trans Am. This is what it has:

Stock front rotors/calipers
Stock rear 9 bolt rotors/calipers
Stock master cylinder and proportioning valve for DISK/DRUM brakes (car was originally a drum brake rear). My brakes now work OK and all the parts are in good shape.

I have a disk/disk car master cylinder and p.valve, but have not put it in. Not sure if the lines will match the drum brake car, or will I need new lines?

I have a LT1 parts car avilable,
which has complete front and rear brakes. Can I use these rear brakes on my 9-bolt?

I was thinking about aftermarket front disks/calipers and stock LT1 rear calipers with aftermarket disk and pads. How big a disk can I fit up front with stock 16x8 GTA wheels? Any good brands/price?
