wont start after injector change
I just changed my fuel injectors and after the car starts it immediately dies.. The injectors aren't new, they are off a 1LE with very low miles. I broke an o-ring in the fuel rail and had to replace that earlier today, I know there are no fuel leaks anymore.. This is an 87 z28. I hooked up all of the vacuum lines correctly, atleast I am pretty sure of it. Most of the hoses are different sizes so it is hard to mess up. When the car starts(then dies) I hear a sucking sound, and no matter how much gas I give it, the car still dies. The IAC and TPS are adjusted properly. What is the sensor that plugs into the plenum near the egr?
I am not getting any codes besides 12.
I really thought it was a vacuum leak, but all the runners bolts are tight and in tact, I made sure to count how many I took out and put back in. Are there any more hoses besides the one that goes into the back drivers side of the plenum, the two that go into the passenger side, and the one that goes into the egr? I hooked up the charcoal canister to throttle body, and the heater valve lines... I can't think of what could be missing. I even cleaned and reconnected the CCV line and PCV.
Could someone post/send me a picture of their intake on both sides?

Sounds like you forgot to hook the brake booster line back up. Either at the booter or at the fitting to the left rear of the plenum.

Right underneath the throttle body there is a 3 way tee vacum that goes into the throttlebody. It will have 1 end plugs in the t-body w/1 vac line coming in and 1 going out.

I plugged that in, today Im just going to do the coolant bypass(Im sick of taking those damn lines off) and tear it down again. Im sure I screwed something up.
One question... will using a gasket from my shower head that was exactly the same size as the one in my fuel rail cause a leak? I have heard yes and no, so Im replacing it today.. the old gasket was bad and fuel shot all over my engine like a fire hydrant, thats some good pressure!
