AFR210 W/ Comps' 280R

I have already ordered the AFR 210's which come with springs that have 220lbs seat pressure. I plan on using comp's sollid roller 280R cam (about .577"lift w/ 1.5rockers - couldn't find exact specs of the cam) but i heard that Comp Cams does not recommend those springs because of the high (220lbs) seat pressure or they might be just saying that to get me to buy their springs. Do you guys see a problem if i run the AFR springs, which come already assembled so i wouldn't have to spend extra money on new springs? This is for a 406SB.
edit: 'I plan on using at least 1.6 or maybe even 1.7 rockers with a Jesel shaft mounted setup - any recommendations on which ration i should go with? The car is only a summer/weekend car with occasional track use.'

Last I knew, AFR was supplying K-Motion springs.

I would not run K-motion sprigns on anything, period.

My recommendation would be to have them ship you bare castings, studs, and valves, and keep the springs and the rest of the hardware (and discount you for those and for the labor of assembly); and buy what your cam mfr recommends to go with their cam.

Thanks RB, that's just what i'll do. Any recommendations on what ratio rockers i should go with? I think compcams will need to know this before i order their springs. Can i get away with 1.7 on the street? That would put me over .600 lift.
