Edelbrock Fuel Injection Dilemma
Ok, Im getting a deal in my face and not sure if i can turn it down. My cousin is selling his Edelbrock Fuel injection setup, barely used, with fuel pump, and everything i need for it. anyways, how much will this boost the power and efficency of my 305? Or is it just to grab it and wait till i eventually one day grab a 383 or 400? Just opinions, cause if it can boost my HP/TQ any, then i will put it on, but only ifits worth it. Thanks.
P.S. Its the 82 Im speaking of.

I'd say by all means go for it. I'm assuming it is the Edelbrock Pro-Flo EFI series or whatever they call it; their MPFI setups. Perhaps the biggest thing about them is their little programmer that comes with it that allows you to tune as you go. That means no tuning equipment or anything.
In short, it's a big step over your TBI stuff.
The only down side: you still have the limitations of the cylinder heads.
