vapor locking?
Hello, have a 91 Z convertible w/ 305 and 700 R4, the car has 120k miles on, I got it awhile ago and have'nt been driving it much, lately it's been pretty warm here, in colo, high altitude too, are these cars notorious for vapor locking, mine appears to be....stalling out wont start unless cooled down for 20 or so minutes, runs rough sometimes, any help is appreciated..
Thanks....
Thanks....

Yup, pretty hard to have vapor lock with 40 psi of pressure inthe fuel line. I'd elimitate that as a possibility, it isn't happening.
Check the fuel pressure when it's doing it. I'm guessing you'll find it's real low. Should be around 37-38 psi sitting there idling normally; 43 psi or so at WOT, or if you disconnect the vacuum line to the regulator.

Vapor Lock... somebody has been watching too much NASCAR!!!
J/k... like said RARELY ever happens in FI situations... Carbs are more suspect.
I can't say anything about NASCAR though... I do watch religiously!! :lala:
