LG4 Stove pipe

I just upgraded my intake from the single to the dual snorkel but do not have the time yet to reroute the stovepipe from the exhaust manifold to the driver side thermac. Can I run with this open or should I try to close it off?

Re: LG4 Stove pipe

It should be fine without being connected. The car could possibly stumble a bit before it fully warms up, but once it does it shouldn't make a difference.

It won't matter just let your car warm up like mentioned.

all it does is pull warm air from off the exhaust manifold and let it go into the engine

You dont need it. I had an L69 air cleaner and ran without it for about 8 months. Never caused a problem, only took another minute or so to warm up.

Don't have time? Reroute? It takes all of 2 minutes to swap the stove pipe and it goes in the same location as the single snorkel intake.
