ok i have an 84 z28 and i was wondering if anyone knew where to get the cover for the wiper motor. its a plactic peice it has a cercit board that controls the delay wipers. thanks in advance

 

Junkyard?

 

i have been at every junk yard and i havn't found a thing. all the auto part stores say they can't get it. i called a dealer and they said it would cost $90. which i think it stupid. the junk yards around here don't have many camaros and they all have a different lookin wiper motor

 

Dealer P/N 22039684, or junkyard. Junkyard is the cheaper of the two, of course.

 

Ive got a wiper motor or 3 laying around the house here....i could yank it for you if push comes to shove.

 

do u have pics of them so i could tell u if it would be the right one or not.

 

I can grab one later tonight (around 9-10 pm or so).

yeah thats not like mine. my cover has a thing molded on the left side where the wiper pump can go

 

Apeiron, is the part number you gave for a specific year?
I am wondering wether that part would be what I am looking for?

 

That number is for cars starting with 1984, until 88 or 89 or so, I'm not quite sure when they stopped. If you have an 84+ car with delay wipers and the washer pump in the motor housing and not in the tank, that should be what you need.

 

Ahh no I have a little washer pump on the resivoir(sp).

So Im guessing that part no wont work.

 

on the circuit board there is a number 22063328 but i tried this at gmpartsdirect.com and nothing came up.

 

ok went to the parts counter at carter chevy yesterday and got a new part number.

22122525 -- lets hope its the right one for me but I wont know till next week when I get it from gmpartsdirect.
