Ford motorsport 19lb injectors(Problem with my TPI)

Ford motorsport 19lb injectors(Problem with my TPI)

I was waiting a while to put the ford motorsports 19 lb injectors on my 88' 305 TPI. I was also told by many that there are no fitment problems putting the ford injecors on my TPI. Now, when i put my stock injector next to the ford injector, i see the ford injector is about an inch shorter than my stock. Is the ford injector gonna work, are there gonna be any clearance problems cause of the slight difference of the two injectors. HELP

Mods:340,edelbrock victor jr. intake, 650 4 barrel holley, heddman headers,40 series dual flowmasters, cold air intake,4:10 gears, just got a new paint job and cragar rims with 315 tires in the back.
:Yeah its not a chevy but damn how many 71' dusters have u seen in the streets.

Engine: 305TPI
Transmission: 700R4
they have to be the same height as the fuel rail will be torqued down which will also force the injectors into their bores..

make sure you got the correct PN# injectors

I've got ford injectors on my car, they fit perfectly. I think you got the newer stlye ford injectors udes in the modular engines and not the ones ment for the older 5.0's.

So what your saying is to call summit back and change it or return it. Ah **** thats what i get for listeing to some people in this board about getting the injectors.
