Are you talking about an electric intank pump? How much of the wiring is still intact? Thats probably why it doesnt work, its not getting the signal anymore to turn on.

Apply voltage to terminal "G" on your ALDL with the key "on". You should hear the pump turn on. If you don't, start by checking your fuses first, then your relay on the driver's side firewall, listen for it to click when you jump terminal G. If that doesn't work, then you have my best wishes at finding where the short is in your electrical system or pulling your pump and replacing it, whichever it might be.

I'm assuming the ECM is gone...

I dont know about the 2.8, but the V8 TPI's use an oil pressure switch that will turn the pump on when it sees oil pressure (above 15psi IIRC) and I think Vader said that could be used on a carb setup since by the time the oil pressure comes up it will fill the float bowls back up and you will be ok. Sounds like a decent idea to me. Or you can hook up a switch to the back of that ALDL terminal, but I wouldnt advise that.

That's gonna be WAAAYYYY too much fuel pressure for the carb, unless you have a pressure regulator on it! The multi-port on the V-6 will run at around 40 psi, where a carb won't like more than about 7 PSI before the fuel starts running all over the place from the needle valve being unseated. GM makes a pump and regulator for such a situation (used for converting a 305 car the the 350 H.O. crate engine). If you want, I'll track down the part numbers for you, I know I have them here somewhere, because I'm gonna need them!

Added dual elec fans.
145 MPH IROC Speedo
Building 430 HP 350 (ZZ430)
using primarily GMPP parts.
Short block sitting on a stand. (Man, those Fast-Burn heads sitting on it look good!)

Starting to look like the Kicker poster child!
