Whats up wit my car?!?!?!
Hey I bought this 86 Bird Real Cheap...
The sticker under the hood says 5.0 with auto tranny and tuned port injection,
But it has a Manaul Transmission, and a Carborator, idk how big the engine is
Idk wat kinda bird it is, It has a TA Hood, TA Front Bumper, TA Fender GFX, but the rest of the GFX r missing! and I got a Firebird wing.... Ive never seen the color of my interoir to all though its not strange, Tan Viynl.

Sounds like a transplant. Check the VIN to be sure the sticker is right, and enjoy your superior manual bird(stick shift the only thing I wish I could have got with my Camaro)

sounds to me like someone has been replacing stuff on your rider before you got it ....lol...my 84 camaro was supposed to be a 305 z28 but when i got thru with it , it had a 96 350 in it with a carb ...lol...not to mention the suspension upgrades ...anyway what im trying to say is dont trust the stickers under your hood always check the casting numbers on the engine

please kill the idk crap.
Where is the sticker? If on the hood, well it seems parts have been swapping. Use our VIN decoder to see what it should have been then go to Mortec.com with your casting number off the block (mortec even tells you where to look) and see what motor now resides between the rails.

I could see the Engine code on the back of the block like you said cause the exasuast manifold was REALLY in the way, I have some Trans Am, fix it book, it says I can get the engine number from the Passenger side, front of block near the alternator, I sanded it down and I think this is wat it says,
VO411DDA
IG\1716790
But I dont know if this is the same number your talking about
