Shhhh. He's old, his alzheimer's is kicking in.
Click this little dude <A HREF="https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/search.php?s="><IMG SRC="https://www.thirdgen.org/techbb2/images/smilies/search.gif" BORDER="0"></A> and put in column or steering column and Vader as the author. He has had a few good threads now and again.
Oh yea, no?

Look up a guy named "Vader." Rumor has it he has a diagram posted somewhere.
This is only a rumor. I am yet to test out the validilty of it. Yea, that's it...

Red Devil, thanks for your help, though I could not find what I was looking for. I was at the track yesterday for some N/A passes and the throttle stuck ( I have since solved that problem) when I went to shut the car down by turning the key to the off position the steering wheel locked at 140+ not a good feature !
Just want to eliminate the lock permently, just incase anything else should happen. I thought the reply was very funny "Yes".
Bullies? I was thinking more like Smart @$$. LOL

all the lock is is a little plate with slots and a rod. remove or grind away the parts that mesh together and you'll have it.
sorry i misread your question, i thought you ask if anyone know how to do it, not how to do it
