LPE site lists $1895 with cores, $2395 without but i bought an immaculate pair used for about $900 in a package deal with some other stuff. they come with titanium retainers, arp studs, high lift valves and springs and reworked chambers. i believe they flow as well as afrs and have better velocity due to the nice tight runner volume. best i/e ratio i've ever seen too.

Very nice set of heads.
Would love to get my hands on a pair and try my hand at home-porting them with the larger 2.00-1.56 LT-4 lightweight valves.

theoretically the same results could be done with home-porting. thats all LPE did. flowbench testing after after several attempts of hand-porting on vette heads resulted in the LPE L98 that they sell on their website. then they mass produce them with a cnc machine. i put this post up to show that there are alot of great heads out there that flow as well or better than the AFR heads. everybody is all gung-ho about AFR but they are expensive and hard to get and there are some excellent alternatives that flow as well or better than AFR. brodix, calloway, edelbrock, lpe, gm, and others all sell heads that are awesome. if you keep an open mind, there are alot of great combos out there to choose from. it would be really boring if everybody used the same heads.
